Job Title: CIB Central Business Finance - CCAR Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President Location: New York Overview As part of the Deutsche Bank USA Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), the Bank must conduct company-run 9 quarter stress testing taking into account the current condition of the company, including its risks, exposures, strategies and activities using scenarios provided by the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) and its own internally defined scenarios. Stress Tests use internally built models that undergo annual monitoring and redevelopment (as needed). As part of the Annual CCAR submission, a Capital Plan is written and delivered to the FRB in addition to the CCAR predefined schedules and is assessed and commented on by the FRB. Those comments define the additional items that the Bank is expected to focus on and remediate for the next annual cycle as needed. Significant effort is required to conduct stress tests and comply with CCAR requirements including the following: Board & Senior Management Oversight Stress Testing policies and procedures Regulatory Reporting of results and supporting documentation Internal Audit review Model validation and model risk governance Governance and Effective challenge What We Offer You: We offer competitive health and wellness benefits, empowering you to value life in and out of the office Retirement Savings Plans, Parental Leave, and other family-friendly programs On-site cafeteria, health center, and communal meeting areas Active engagement with the local community through Deutsche Bank's specialized employee groups Hear from our people and look inside our office: DB@The Muse Your Role What You'll Do: Liaise between CCAR Central, Regional & Business Finance, Front Office, Treasury and Technology in order to deliver the product / entity view CCAR/DFAST projections Review financial and nonfinancial model inputs for quarterly stress testing Execute models and analyze projection results Prepare presentation decks on results by Business and present to Senior Business Management Review/provide input on specific sections of the Capital Plan Work with Treasury Modeling and Analytics and the Front Office to redevelop first generation models and help validate data for ongoing model monitoring Provide SME assistance in model development Identify/understand the variances between IFRS and US GAAP financials and how they are reported within the CCAR schedules Conduct validation and control on proposed frameworks and models Liaise with the Business to translate balance sheet and income statement data from IFRS to US GAAP to 14A presentation view (including appropriate business segmentation) Support other ad hoc business analyses and business level variance analysis Remediate/close out Audit Findings and internally identified issues and lesson learned Consider FRB Feedback in all decisions and process enhancements Participate in user acceptance testing to identify and highlight possible system issues Review and document procedures related to the CCAR/DFAST submission (KOPs, Run Book, etc.) Support the continued development and analysis of stress test results provided to the Regional Skills You'll Need: Strong product knowledge across CIB Businesses and associated products Background in accounting of financial instruments and financial statement representation Understanding of reconciliations and variance analysis CCAR/DFAST experience is a plus but not required Skills That Will Help You Excel: Proactive personality Detail oriented with focus on internal controls and integrity of data Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply to complex data structures Strong team work and communication skills, commitment to meeting deadlines Excellent organizational skills Bachelor of Science degree in Finance or Accounting or similar About Deutsche Bank We are Germany's leading bank with strong positions in Europe and significant presence in the Americas and Asia Pacific.
